A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN AIR DUCT TECHNICIAN
Whether a project is residential or commercial, Crowther Cooling has a proven and patented method of duct cleaning. This is a great opportunity for someone with no experience can get into the HVAC industry. We offer on-the-job training and ongoing training. Once the “training wheels” are off, the opportunities for advancement are endless if you have the right work ethic and attitude.
7 AM – 7:30 AM – Report to Rockfill Road location to review daily jobs and assignments
7:30 AM – 8:30 AM – Arrive at the job site. Check-in with onsite contact. Introduce yourself and start to prep the area. The preparation consists of drop cloths on all flooring, corner protectors, placement of compressors, and a vacuum machine. Removal of all registers, then perform the duct cleaning. Clean the registers and re-install. Sanitize ductwork with sanitization fog. Take "before'' and "after" photos. Survey site to ensure all scopes of work have been completed. Thoroughly clean up the area. Thank the customer and answer any questions they may have.
4 PM - Packed up equipment for the return to Rockfill. Prep truck with materials needed for tomorrow.
